‍For the 50th anniversary of the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) in Riyadh, HoloForge designed an immersive mixed reality experience highlighting the Kaleköy hydro-solar dam in Turkey, a major project financed by the IsDB.

Using HoloLens 2, guests explored a detailed 3D model of the dam and its large solar field, the first hybrid hydro-solar power complex in the country. They were able to visualize the combined energy output of the 200,000 solar panels and the hydraulic turbines, observe how production evolves throughout the day, and explore the interior of the dam to activate the turbines virtually.

The experience also demonstrated the role of AI and mixed reality in industrial operations, particularly through remote holographic assistance. An engineer can guide an on-site operator, share plans and live data in real time, and automatically generate an inspection report.

This premium demonstrator shows how technology contributes to a safer, more efficient, and more sustainable energy industry. It also illustrates the positive territorial impact of IsDB investments: improved energy access, economic development, and lower carbon emissions.

A technological showcase that opens the way to new operational applications in the management of industrial infrastructures worldwide.
