In partnership with Pierre Fabre Group, we developed an immersive experience showcased during the 115th French Urology Association (AFU) Congress, held from at the Palais des Congrès in Paris.
As a long-standing partner of the AFU, Pierre Fabre Group wanted to modernize awareness and education for physicians and urologists through an innovative and interactive augmented reality experience.
The OSCAR application, designed for the HoloLens 2, offered healthcare professionals a preventive learning program focused on lower urinary tract and prostate disorders, whose prevalence continues to rise.
An Interactive and Educational Approach
Through an interactive menu, users could select the five main risk factors for Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
Each selection highlighted the corresponding organ within a 3D human anatomical model, accompanied by a text panel displaying detailed scientific explanations.
This setup allowed healthcare professionals to visualize symptoms and mechanisms clearly, promoting better understanding and retention of medical information.
A Preventive and Immersive Tool
The OSCAR experience demonstrated how mixed reality can be used as an effective educational tool for healthcare professionals—bridging innovation, prevention, and medical learning in an engaging way.
