An Immersive Experience at the Heart of Maison Poincaré

On September 27, 2023, the official inauguration of Maison Poincaré took place. The entire team at HoloForge Interactive is proud to have contributed to this endeavor through Holo-Math, the first collective mixed-reality experience deployed in a museum. A first in France: a mediation space where everyone can (re)discover the fascinating world of mathematics and its applications. We would like to express our gratitude to the Henri Poincaré Institute and Busterwood for their collaboration, as well as to Cédric Villani, the initiator and staunch advocate of this unique project.

Mixed Reality Serving Mathematics

Holo-Math utilizes mixed reality technology to allow viewers to ‘step into the other side of reality’ and visualize mathematical objects and phenomena. As for the location, one couldn’t have wished for a better setting: this mathematics museum is situated at the heart of a legendary triangle (Panthéon, ENS, Jardin du Luxembourg) that has been synonymous with French reputation and excellence for decades.
