Mont-Aiguille | Sentinel of time
An immersive journey through the French Alps!
In partnership with the Vercors Regional Natural Park, the “Sentinel of Time” project is part of a cultural initiative, offering a nomadic experience specifically designed for Tourist Offices.
Through the experience, delve into the various stages of the past and future life of this colossus with feet of clay. Discover the legends surrounding this long-inaccesible mountain, regarded in the Middle Ages as a Garden of Eden. Explore the study of the Vercors high plateau’s flat-laying pines, true witnesses of the past and climate evolution. Finally, learn how this natural fortress was formed, and its gradual erosion over time.
Innovation at the service of memory
The development of this experience involved several technological integrations, including 360° photogrammetry. This process allowed us to extract a precise 3D model of this mountain.
Furthermore, the experience incorporates a VR component that propels you to the top of this mountain, an inaccessible peak unless you are an experienced climber.
In summary, this new nomadic presentation mode lets you offer your visitors an extraordinary journey to the top of unreachable peaks.
