Immersive mixed-reality walk: preserving the local heritage with HoloLens
Promote France’s heritage
The intention of this experience is to showcase the heritage of the Loir Valley. The local authority had already developed the application “In search of secret times”, a “Digital Journey” in which visitors could discover 5 must-see places in the Loir Valley in a fun way.
On European Heritage Days, the church of Saint Louis du Prytanée opened its doors to allow a unique guided tour in this Land of Art and History. The use of HoloLens headsets brought the architectural elements and artistic treasures of the site to life for a weekend.
With HoloLens, go back in time and discover the church of St Louis as you have never seen it before. This 30-minute group experience plunges you into a real treasure hunt in which visitors uncover the secrets of this place using fragments of memory left by the previous occupants: the famous valley-dwellers.
